How it works

Andrea will only use genuine Dermaroller. It is a medical device which is used to produce thousands of micro-medical needle – columns in the skin. Each column with close rapidly enabling the skin to recover quickly-often in the same day.

Electronic Dermastamp (EDS)

The Electronic Dermastamp (EDS) is a brand new machine that is an electronic version of the Genuine Dermaroller combining mesotherapy (delivering Hyaluronic Acid into the skin) at the same time and acts as an alternative treatment to a skin peel.

The EDS is the next generation in Genuine Dermarollers and can reduce or eliminate fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth, correct uneven skin pigmentation and soften the appearance of scars caused by acne.

The Procedure

Andrea will advise you at your consultation how many treatments are recommended as sometimes more may be advised if there are any particular skin concerns such as acne scarring or particularly bad sun damage etc. Your progress will be monitored after each treatment by the use of photographs so that you can help decide whether you think more treatments are necessary.

Home Dermaroller

To compliment your EDS treatment, Andrea may advise you about the use of a home dermaroller as this can have a dramatic effect on your skin. It works in two ways. Firstly it will help with the constant regeneration of the top surface layer of your skin but perhaps more importantly it will help with the absorption of products. If you apply a cream to your face, you will absorb approximately 7% of the cream. If you roll first, you will absorb about 80% of the cream. This has a massive impact on the appearance of your skin and Andrea will teach you how to roll, how often and what key ingredients to apply to your skin.

The advantage of this is that you can roll right up underneath your eyes, the eyelids, the neck, décolletage, backs of hands – all those difficult to treat areas. It’s an incredibly effective treatment. The main commitment is time. You need to get into the habit of doing it most days for about 5 minutes. Combine this with EDS and you will be amazed at your results.
